Parliamentary majority member and the candidate for the post of the chairman of the parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, said at the party office that the key task of the parliament before 2024 will be the harmonization of the Georgian legislative base with that of the European.
In Papuashvili's words, realizing the task will prove difficult without the opposition's involvement. ''Cooperation with the opposition and its involvement in the process will be one of our top priorities,'' Papuashvili declared.
Kakha Kuchava, the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, has recently stepped down. Shalva Papuashvili will replace him.
