Citizens who have visited the Mestia municipality during the last two weeks must call 112 after showing any symptoms, or get admitted to the Heat Center, according to the Coordination Council.
"The Coordination Council appeals to citizens who have visited the Mestia municipality during the last two weeks to call 112 after showing any symptoms or enter the Heat Center, where they will undergo a free testing procedure.
The worsened epidemiological situation has resulted in the introduction of some regulations in the Mestia municipality. Out of 30 samples, 16 proved positive, with this leading to implementing some restrictions in the Mestia municipality. Residents are now actively tested and their possible contacts traced," the statement by the Coordination Council reads. The Council also calls upon citizens to use the Stop CoVid application.
Entering and leaving the Mestia, Ushguli and Lenjeri regions have been restricted after more coronavirus cases were reported there.
