"The signing of the 5G Memorandum and its successful implementation will serve this purpose and will significantly increase the interest of American companies in Georgia," the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Davit Zalkaliani, stated.
According to him, the signing of the 5G Network Security Memorandum is another expression of the strategic partnership that binds us to the United States.
"The introduction of new modern technologies will contribute to Georgia's sustainable economic development, which is especially important in light of the new challenges caused by the global pandemic. With the expansion of this memorandum, Georgia joined the initiative of our NATO and EU partners, the so-called clean networks, which will ensure the development of Georgia's next-generation Internet reliable ecosystem, digital services, and the digital economy as a whole following international standard," said Davit Zalkaliani.
