The Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani, on July 6, 2021, met with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Karimov, who is paying an official visit to Georgia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed report.ge.
According to them, the importance of strategic relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan was discussed at the meeting. Also, the main directions of fruitful cooperation in culture and future perspectives and initiatives in both bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed.
It was noted that the planning and implementation of various joint projects between neighboring countries are important for ensuring stability and peace in the region, including culture. The importance of deepening the partnership between the two strategic countries was underlined once again.
