A government session was held at the Government Administration headed by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili.
The Cabinet of Ministers discussed 11 issues on the agenda.
The government approved an ordinance at today's session, according to which 65 IDP families will be given ownership of newly built housing free of charge. These apartments are located in Kutaisi, Zugdidi and Tbilisi.
As the Prime Minister noted, supporting the IDPs, improving their living conditions is one of the important priorities of the Government of Georgia. Since 2012, thousands of IDP families across the country have already taken ownership of housing, and this process will continue.
The government also approved an ordinance today for the state-owned real estate company "Steel House Ltd" on privatization in the form of direct sale.
Within the framework of the state program - "Enterprise Georgia," in order for the "Steel House" Ltd to create a steel product enterprise, a non-agricultural land plot, and buildings located in Vaziani settlement in Gardabani, Martkopi will be transferred at a symbolic price for GEL one.
In the steel product enterprise, which will be established within the framework of the program - "Enterprise Georgia" within two years, an investment of GEL 3,819,664 will be made, and 50 people will be employed.
