''Georgia is a country of right European values, and it has no plans to swerve off course,'' Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili declared.
''I reiterate that nobody can be misled into thinking that our team will allow attempts of trampling on these values,'' Mariam Kvrivishvili said, adding that the move of the chairman of the parliament to raise the EU flag after it was torn down was an immensely powerful message.
On July 6, radical groups tore down the EU flag from the parliament building, while the next day, Chairman of the Parliament Kakha Kuchava hang it back.
