It was a productive meeting and we agreed on principle topics – said the majority MP from Georgian Dream party, Dimitri Khundadze after the meeting with the Leader of Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia Party, Bidzina Ivanishvili. The meeting attended the, so called, “rebelled” members.
“The meeting between Bidzina Ivanishvili and those members of the parliament which opposed the proportional election system was held. The proportional system of election was discussed. It was a productive meeting as we managed to agree on the principle topic. The agreement has to be reviewed by the rest of the members of the majority then we will declare it publicly. The meeting was productive today as compared to other meetings, we managed to agree on the principle topic”, - said Dimitri Khundadze.
The majority session is planned for tomorrow; it is more likely that we will declare the principle topic of transfer to the proportional system that we agreed on today upon the completion of the session.
