Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze says that the mass hunger strike started by the "National Movement" complicates the already difficult epidemiological situation.
"As for the mass hunger strike, then as well as now, I understand that some kind of protest is one of the signs of democracy in the society and the state. I understand that people are trying to bring some tension to attract more attention to this process; however, I really believe that there is always a resource for dialogue, and it is important for politicians to engage in dialogue rather than various forms of protest, which complicates the pandemic situation in the country," Tikaradze stated.
