Representative of the opposition Aleko Elisashvili said that his party is independent and does not plan to join any opposition faction.
''We have enough levers to conduct our activities. We do not seek luxury cars, advantages, or vastly inflated salaries. We are not interested in forming factions with others. The main reason for this is a different ideology and worldview,'' Elisashvili stated.
Lelo for Georgia faction is forming a faction in the parliament called Lelo - Partnership for Georgia. Badri Japaridze will head the party, with the deputy head's post intended to be held by Salome Samadashvili. Armaz Akhvlediani and Shalva Shavgulidze are also joining the faction.
