After eight months of closure, the Enguri Bridge will open today. The State Security Service positively assesses the possibility of moving Georgian citizens from occupied Abkhazia to the territory controlled by the central government of Georgia.
"After almost a year of restrictions, the movement on the occupation line in the direction of occupied Abkhazia resumed, which is an extremely important positive change. It will enable our fellow citizens living in occupied Abkhazia by complying with the coronavirus-related regulations to enter the territory controlled by the central government, visit family members and relatives and enjoy the benefits that the state offers them," the statement said.
