Carl Hartzell, the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, said that Georgia is a strong defense partner for the EU. He commented in response to Zurabishvili's statement.
"I do not know exactly what her statement meant. As for education, I think it is an important factor in the development of the country. Georgian Armed Forces have been involved in missions in Central Africa and Mali, for which we are very grateful, the same can be said about NATO. Georgian troops in Afghanistan are very effective," Carl Hartzell said.
