Georgian Dream Executive Secretary Mamuka Mdinaradze said that ex-PM Giorgi Gakharia resigned to serve the interests of the UNM.
''He stabbed his team in the back. However, we cannot deny that he was successful together with us. No one would believe if we said we didn't like this man; they will say if he was disliked, why we put him in office as prime minister in the first place,'' Mamuka Mdinaradze said on journalist Gabunia's program.
PM Gakharia left his post on 18 Feb 2021; he named UNM head Nika Melia's detention as the reason pushing him to make the decision.
