Expert Khukhashvili: Tsulukiani has once again crossed a moral boundary

According to political expert Gia Khukhashvili, Bidzina Ivanishvili's heir in Georgia's political scene is former Justice Minister and the acting Chairperson of the Education, Science and Culture Committee Tea Tsulukiani. In the expert's words, yesterday, Tea Tsulukiani crossed a moral boundary.

"The actions by the Georgian Dream clearly testifies to the fact that they do not need the opposition to perform its function; they just need the opposition to walk all over it. Tsulukiani has once again crossed a moral boundary. Today's comments were outrageous," Khukhashvili declared.

On Feb 2, Citizens party leader Aleko Elisashvili said in his speech at the parliament's plenary session that elections had definitely been rigged, but he entered the parliament to provide solutions to people's issues. Mr. Elisashvili announced his phone number and said that he is ready to answer citizens' calls.

Tea Tsulukiani responded to Elisashvili's statement by saying that he could have written down Nika Gvaramia's number to be instructed on what to say in the parliament. Mrs. Tsulukiani publicly announced Gvaramia's phone number and asked Elisashvili what he was doing in the parliament if the elections had been rigged.

Mr. Gvaramia soon responded to Tsulukiani's statement and said that he regularly receives unidentified phone calls from unknown numbers. Mr. Gvaramia addressed the ombudsman with the question of whether it is right to publicize personal information.
