A friendship group with Azerbaijan has been set up in the Parliament of Georgia of the 10th convocation, including 36 deputies.
As explained in the draft resolution "On Friendship Groups," it will be headed by Vice Speaker Kakhaber Kuchava. Among the members of the group are Azerbaijani MPs Zaur Dargali and Savalan Mirzayev.
Discussion of the draft at the plenary sessions of the legislature has already begun.
The Friendship Group with Azerbaijan worked in the previous parliament and consisted of 62 deputies. Vice-Speaker Kakhaber Kuchava headed it.
