Georgian Dream Chairperson Irakli Kobakhidze said that this year's self-government elections are crucial, and the ruling party needs to win.
''We are confident that the public will once again turn down the political forces that have shown disregard for democracy and the rule of law, who have trampled on human rights, ceded our territories, misled the public, and betrayed their people.
We do believe that the truth will once again beat the deception, dignity will defeat absence of principles, loyalty will best betrayal, and patriotism will beat the hatred of the country and church,'' he said, adding that the victory constitutes the necessary prerequisite for the country to move closer to the west.
