The meeting between the Georgian Dream and opposition representatives has ended, with the parties failing to reach an agreement.
Christian Danielsson said that he completed his mediation mission in Georgia as a personal envoy of President of the European Council Charles Michel. In his words, the crisis can be solved, with the solution covering election and justice systems, the distribution of powers in the parliament, and the opportunity to end debates on polarized court cases, as well as snap elections.
According to Christian Danielsson, he presented the document offering the way out from the political deadlock, and the document is set to be publicized. ''The solution places the country's interests above all other issues, and it's sad that neither of the parties has accepted it,'' he stated.
The meeting between the ruling and opposition parties at which Christian Danielsson served as a mediator has lasted for seven hours.
