Following the Georgia-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Economic Commission meeting led by the two countries' prime ministers in Baku, Irakli Gharibashvili and Ali Asadov have signed the protocol of the eighth meeting of the commission. 

The Memorandums of Cooperation were concluded between the two countries' corresponding bodies. 

They signed a) the 2021-2024 cooperation program in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth of Georgia and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan; b) the agreement between the two governments on cooperation in standardization, metrology and conformity assessment; c) the agreement on checkpoints on the state border between Georgia and Azerbaijan; d) the memorandum between Produce in Georgia public legal entity and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) as well as the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
