"The vast majority of patients in the clinic today, about 70 percent, are oxygen dependent, which means that they need oxygen supply," the Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia mentioned.

According to her, both the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been actively working with the clinics to mobilize additional oxygen supplies from different countries.

Gabunia said Azerbaijan and Turkey have been providing Georgia with oxygen since last year.

"Azerbaijan and Turkey helped us last year and have been helping us again. Up to 25 clinics have added their autonomous factory, and they are not dependent on anyone in this direction.

We always warn clinics about optimizing oxygen consumption so that it does not happen that the oxygen source is open and oxygen is lost. Unfortunately, we have had such cases like this. Thus, it is an ongoing work process. There is no cause for alarm. There are several sources. Everyone understands the importance of this, and there is a maximum mobilization so that the clinics do not have this problem," said Tamar Gabunia.
