Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has congratulated his Georgian counterpart Davit Zalkaliani on his appointment as deputy prime minister and foreign minister and expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would be further strengthened.
In their phone talk, the two high officials stressed the significance of economic cooperation and the necessity to implement regional projects.
The two ministers also focused on the importance of long-term peace and stability in the region. They showed readiness to cooperate in this field actively.
Mr. Bayramov invited his colleague to Azerbaijan, according to the MFA of Georgia.
