Leaders of the Georgian Dream visited Elene Khoshtaria, the leader of the Droa party, in the parliament, who has been on hunger strike for 15 days.

Irakli Kobakhidze, Mamuka Mdinaradze, and Shalva Papuashvili visited the member of the opposition.

"Our request is for Elene Khoshtaria to end the hunger strike. We had a friendly conversation. We talked about different options," Kobakhidze said after the meeting.

As for Saakashvili being taken to a civilian clinic, Kobakhidze said there was no need for it and that there were security risks.

"Putting people's lives and health at risk is a serious dilemma. Therefore, we can not make a decision on taking Saakashvili to the clinic. One thing is that there is no need for it, and the other thing is that the security risks are very serious," Irakli Kobakhidze said.

The main demand of the leader of "Droa" is to transfer the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, to a multidisciplinary civil clinic. She does not intend to end the hunger strike if this demand is not met.

The third president, who has been on a hunger strike for 48 days, demands to be taken to a civilian clinic. Saakashvili says he is ready to end the hunger strike if he is taken to a civilian clinic.
