The ruling Georgian Dream party has shown readiness to sign the updated document by the European Council President Charles Michel.
''We stand ready to sign the updated document presented by the EU-led delegation in Georgia and by EU Council President Charles Michel. Despite the parties having agreed on the 40% voter mandate threshold in the presence of our international partners, and both the 8 March Agreement and our constitution envisages this, with no other alternative having a logical and constitutional basis, the Georgian Dream is ready to sign the agreement envisaging the 43% threshold instead of 40%,'' the statement reads.
