Georgian Foreign Minister and Vice-Minister Davit Zalkaliani told journalists that ''their expectations have been included in the final declaration, and today's summit will produce specific tangible results.''
''Inclusion of our European aspirations in the final declaration is excellent. Their talks on the trio format indicate that our European partners recognize the format as an already developed cooperation framework. This also opens up new cooperation prospects and backs the principle which constitutes a leitmotif of the declaration, saying that all-inclusiveness of the Eastern Partnership must be maintained in view of the principles of differentiation. Correspondingly, countries showing more progress are more likely to join the EU,'' Zalkaliani declared.
Zalkaliani also defined the fact that the declaration supports Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the EU's more active involvement to resolve the conflict as crucial.
