Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili congratulated U.S. Ambassador Kelly Degnan on U.S. Independence Day.
The prime minister attended the festive reception ceremony at the ambassador's residence together with the chairperson of the parliament, and representatives of executive and legislative branches of the government.
Gharibashvili stressed that the US is Georgia's key strategic partner, with its support being paramount for the country.
Representatives of Georgia-accredited diplomatic corps, business, and political parties were present at the festive reception ceremony at Degnan's residence.
