Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has invited her Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to Georgia.
Mrs. Zurabishvili defined the forthcoming visit as the basis for strengthening political ties between the two countries.
''I have invited President Zelensky to Georgia on 18 July. I am aware perfectly well that the Crimean platform is of great significance, and upon his arrival, we will decide who will represent Georgia in forming the platform. Georgia will undoubtedly be among the representatives on the platform. Additionally, I hope that we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of our relations next year by holding high-level celebration events,'' Salome Zurabishvili stated.
