"Danielsson's second visit gives rise to more hope that an agreement will be reached," Gigi Tsereteli, member of the European Georgia opposition party, said.
In his words, it is customary to compromise in politics, and this should not be perceived as a sign of weakness.
"Diplomacy and politics are characterized by this, at the right time to make the necessary compromises," Tsereteli said.
He says the ruling Georgian Dream party must understand that there are issues that will be discussed again, including political prisoners and early elections.
Gigi Tsereteli believes that the opposition is ready for a compromise.
