''I would have replaced hunger-striking Saakashvili without hesitation,'' UNM member Gigi Ugulava said.
Ugulava does not rule out the possibility of starting a hunger strike himself.
In Gigi Ugulava's words, he knows the ex-president quite well, which is why he is confident that Saakashvili will not end his hunger strike as long as he is conscious.
''We may start a hunger strike as this must keep going. Mikhel Saakashvili has to terminate his hunger strike at some point. They will not stop at murder. Other political leaders may continue the hunger strike he has started,'' Ugulava said.
Mikheil Saakashvili, who was arrested on Oct 1, has been on a hunger strike for 32 days now.
