Giorgi Gakharia: 24-hour work will improve our present-day lives

"Despite our success, unfortunately, the country is in the condition that requires a joint effort to complete the initiated urgent work. We are talking about such simple things as roads, water, gas supply, schools, kindergartens, etc." – said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, during the presentation of the MP candidate from Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia in Samtredia, Tskaltubo, Vani, and Khoni.

He said that people's health and children's interests were neglected until 2012.

"We should not compete with anybody, we just need to work 24 hours daily to make our today better than yesterday, and we must maintain hope of the future."

Gakharia talked about the problems that the villages of Vani, Samtredia, and Tskaltubo are facing.

Giorgi Gakharia believes that opening Vani Archeological Museum will be a serious step forward from a tourism perspective since Vani has gained importance as a tourist site on the international level.

He mentioned that the government had initiated a project Government is your Partner to support the country's agricultural and tourism sectors. The project envisages support to start-up farmers and travel businesses.

The Ministry of Justice has opened a public center in Vani this year to enable locals to participate in Produce in Georgia and other projects initiated by the government.

"Earlier, the businesses that wanted to participate in the project had to go to Tbilisi for the needed information and support. Now it is available here in Vani." – said the Prime Minister.

"All these are done to create equal opportunities throughout the country and support the gifted people to make first steps for the benefit of their families and later create jobs for their relatives, neighbors, etc." – the Prime Minister said.
