"We must never forget the case of Vazha Gaprindashvili, who crossed the occupation line to do his job and is in the given situation today. I want to thank all the diplomats who are involved in rescuing this man," Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, said.
"This allows our European partners to see what the occupation line is and what it means to live in a country where citizens living along with the occupation line face problems like this every day," the Prime Minister stated.
According to Giorgi Gakharia, politics should be cold, wise, and every step should be taken to restore Georgia's unity.
"We need to understand one thing, everything is acceptable except for war," Giorgi Gakharia said.
Ambassadors Conference 2019 - the Annual Meeting of the Diplomatic Missions of Georgia Abroad and Heads of consular posts is being held in Tbilisi from December 17 to December 20.
