In the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Caspian Week takes place for the fourth time to demonstrate the economic potential of the Caspian region.

At the forum, leaders of the Caspian and Black Sea Basin countries inform the international community on the region's investment opportunities.

Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, spoke about the economic and political importance of Georgia and the investment attractiveness of the country.

"Georgia, our country, is seen as a gateway to the Caspian region. It is an essential function for us. We are considered as a hub, a platform that supports economies like the EU, China, Turkey, and many more. That's why everything in connection with involvement is important for us," Gakharia said.

The primary purpose of the Caspian Week Forum is to develop economic, cultural, educational, and scientific links between Caspian, Black Sea countries, and Europe.

Among participants are Matthew Bryza, the former US ambassador to Azerbaijan, Filippo Lombardi, the former President of the Swiss Council of States, Mustafa Mastoor, the Minister of Economy of Afghanistan, Vladimir Kotenev, the former Russian ambassador to Germany and Andreas Baumgartner, the advisor to +A group of companies for Kazakhstan as well as Babar Badat, the former President of FIAT.
