"We all understand that Georgia has a developing democracy, we have a complicated Soviet past, and we all understand that it may take years for reforms to meet European standards," Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, stated at International Donors' Conference.

In his opening speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the key priorities of the Georgian government, including security, economic development, infrastructure and trade, human capital development, and open governance. According to the Prime Minister, various international organizations and financial institutions spent a total of $ 7 billion on reforming Georgia within the framework of the International Donors' Conference format by 2018.

"When we speak about the International Donors' Conference, it is important to be consistent in the areas and strategic directions outlined in the government's action plan, and we should talk about it today so that our match is as effective and accurate as possible," Giorgi Gakharia said.

Members of the Government of Georgia, Chairperson of the Parliament, MPs, heads of diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, and representatives of donor organizations participated in the event at the Ceremonial Palace of Georgia.

The second part of the forum took place in the format of a round table chaired by Natia Mezvrishvili, the head of the Governmental Administration of Georgia.
