"The World Health Organization highly and effectively assessed the actions of the Georgian government and, of course, the Ministry of Health in the fight against the virus," Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia said ahead of a government meeting.
The head of government pointed out that everyone should remember that coronavirus is a global challenge and a common problem.
"We must increase our effectiveness. While some of our politically-engaged counterparts think that the virus is targeting the political spectrum, we all understand that this is a battle where we all should win. It is the battle where we all have to mobilize the economy and minimize the impact on our citizens, "Gakharia said.
