Giorgi Gakharia, the former Prime Minister and chairperson of the party For Georgia, will be the Tbilisi mayoral candidate.
Gakharia stated about it while presenting the candidates.
"I want to tell my former teammates that from now on, you will be dealing with me. In solidarity with each of our mayoral candidates who are struggling in difficult conditions, I, a separate citizen of Georgia and a citizen of Tbilisi declare without any political collusion that I will join you in the fight for the post of the Mayor of Tbilisi," Gakharia said.
Nomination of Sakrebulo candidates for the party "For Georgia" is currently taking place in the yard of the Metekhi St. Virgin Church.
