Giorgi Gakharia: War in the neighborhood is the biggest risk for Georgia

According to Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, Georgia is directly interested in resolving the uncertainty and conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan only through negotiations.

Asked whether there was a response from the parties after Georgia offered a meeting for dialogue in Tbilisi, Gakharia explained that Georgia is always ready and will contribute to peace.

"When there is a real war going on in our neighborhood, it is a great risk for Georgia. Of course, we will do our best, whether we will have a response or not, to express our readiness and contribute to the establishment of peace. Everyone understands that we have our citizens, both Armenians, and Azerbaijanis, when we talk about the ongoing war in the region. Georgia is directly interested in resolving any uncertainty and conflict in our region only through negotiations. We will do everything we can," Gakharia said.
