The fourth President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, has already officially addressed the Penitentiary Service, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Health with a request to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili.
Margvelashvili writes that he plans to talk about the "reconciliation process" with imprisoned Saakashvili.
"As you know, in my public statements, I expressed my desire to meet with the third President of Georgia, Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili, to discuss the process of national reconciliation initiated by the President of Georgia, Mrs. Salome Zurabishvili.
To address these issues, please, as an exception, allow me to visit the third President of Georgia, Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili, at the Gori Military Hospital," Giorgi Margvelashvili wrote in his address.
