"Georgia's application for EU membership in 2024 is ambitious but possible; it is a demonstration of your courage," the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda stated about it at a joint press conference after a face-to-face meeting with the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili.
According to Gitanas Nausėda, the goal can be achieved through the efforts of a common political spectrum.
"Unity and a parliamentary process are urgent priorities. It is especially important for achieving Georgia's ambitious goals. You can achieve the goals not separately but through the efforts of a common political spectrum. Your goal of applying for EU membership in 2024 is ambitious but possible. I think it is very important. This is a great demonstration of your courage," Gitanas Nausėda said.
