Head of Law Enforcement Reform Center released from custody

Zviad Kuprava, the head of the Law Enforcement Reform Center, has been released from detention after signing an acknowledgement form. Giorgi Rurua, who was detained together with Kuprava, is still being kept in custody. 

"They have freed me only because I am a candidate. We will not stop fighting. How many of us will they detain?" Kuprava said. 

Law enforcement officers detained four rally participants after clashes occurred at the rally site outside №2 Vake District Election Commission. Zviad Kuprava, the head of the Law Enforcement Reform Center, was among the detainees, who are now facing petty hooliganism and police disobedience charges.
