The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili met with his Moldovan and Ukrainian counterparts to discuss further intensification of cooperation between the Associated Trio; the government administration informed report.ge.

According to them, during the videoconference meeting, the Prime Ministers of the three countries stressed the need to intensify dialogue and cooperation on European integration issues based on a memorandum signed between the Associated Trio, including sharing experiences in the implementation of Association Agreements. Talks also focused on the intensification of relations between the Associated Trio and the EU, including the importance of establishing sectoral dialogues. The Prime Ministers praised the efforts made so far within the Association Trio and the joint meetings with senior EU officials, the continuation of which is important for facilitating the European integration process of the three countries. The Prime Ministers also discussed the Eastern Partnership summit scheduled for December and the expectations for the future goals of the partnership, taking into account the European aspirations and European choices of the associated countries. They stressed the importance of coordination between the associated countries in the run-up to the Summit and hoped that the Summit would open up new opportunities for partner countries on the path to further EU integration, based on the principles of differentiation and more.
