The bodies of 13 people who went missing during the armed conflict in Abkhazia have been transferred from the occupied territories of Abkhazia.
According to the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality of Georgia, the official handover, funeral and burial ceremony for the families of 8 militaries and five civilians, will take place on August 14-15.
"Civil funerals will be held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral from August 14, from 19:00 to August 15, 11:00 to 14:00. The burial of 2 military remains will occur on August 15, at 15:00, at the Digomi Brothers Cemetery. The representatives of the executive and legislative branches will attend the funerals as well as the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili," reads the information spread by the agency.
