"It was a great honor for me, of course, to be the Minister of Defense, to serve you, dear officers," Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili stated during his speech at the presentation of the Action Plan of the Ministry of Defense.
The head of the government noted that many successful reforms and essential things had been done during this year; however, a plan has been jointly developed that will further strengthen the Georgian army.
"Our starting point and task were to create a vision, a document that would not be subject to constant change. It would not depend on the individual views of the ministers. This is where this idea came from, and we developed the first document in 6 months last year, and today is the day to present our basic visions to the population," the head of government said.
