Irakli Gharibashvili, the Minister of Defense of Georgia, is paying a two-day official visit to Azerbaijan.
Gharibashvili held his first meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. At the Presidential Palace, two politicians discussed the importance of stability in the region, strategic partnerships, and joint projects.
Irakli Gharibashvili thanked the Azerbaijanian side for supporting Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The Defense Minister focused on the good relationship between the neighboring countries and strategic partnership with Azerbaijan.
