According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, the amount of pension will increase next year.
"From January 2022, the pension for persons under 70 is set at GEL 260, and for persons aged 70 and over - at GEL 300. The amount of pension in highland settlements will be GEL 312 for persons under 70, and the pension for persons aged 70 and over will be GEL 360," said Irakli Gharibashvili.
At the same time, according to the Prime Minister, the monthly assistance of GEL 22 and 44 for veterans participating in the war will increase to GEL 100.
