According to Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, the opposition is behind the march.
"Revanchist, radical groups are behind the organizers of today's rally. In particular, the radical opposition led by Saakashvili. I declare with full responsibility that they are involved, they are organizing the march and these rallies, and of course, their goal is to bring civil unrest and chaos to our country today, which, of course, will not happen, and we will not allow it," Gharibashvili said.
"Tbilisi Pride" rally is taking place in front of the Parliament on Rustaveli Avenue. There is a confrontation between journalists and homophobic groups; radical groups have also confronted the police.
