"I congratulate every citizen of our country, the whole Georgian society, on the International Day for Tolerance! I wish you kindness, love, and mutual respect," Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, stated.
According to the head of the government, on November 16, Georgia, together with the world community, celebrates the International Day for Tolerance, which once again proves that people, their dignity, and rights are the most important value for humanity.
"Today reminds us once again that a society based on the principles of equality and tolerance is a solid foundation for democratic strength.
Mutual respect and tolerance are the fundamental values that made Georgia a homeland for the multicultural, multiethnic, and multi-confessional population while ensuring the preservation of their identity.
As a European country, Georgia respects and shares common European values, where the Constitution guarantees the protection of universally recognized human rights and fundamental freedoms. We respect and uphold the dignity and freedom of every citizen," reads the statement of the Prime Minister, published on the official Facebook page of the Government of Georgia.
