"I want to thank you for your service, dedication, professionalism, heroism. It was a great honor for me to be your Minister, work with you, and serve our country and people with you," the Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, stated about it during his speech at the event dedicated to the professional day of the police.
The Prime Minister recalled the policemen who were killed while fulfilling their duties.
"I know very well how hard your work is. 24-hour service to our country and people. Thank you for that. You are the defenders of our country. You ensure the security of our country and the peace of every citizen, the rule of law, and public order. Unfortunately, many of you have sacrificed your lives for this heroic deed, and I bow to the memory of the heroic policemen who sacrificed their lives for our country," Prime Minister stated.
