According to the member of the parliamentary majority, Irakli Kadagishvili, the main short-term goal of Mikheil Saakashvili is to escape prison somehow.
"He will do anything for it. Any prisoner has the same desire. Saakashvili has neither the constitutional nor the legal right to participate in Georgian politics because he voluntarily renounced his Georgian citizenship. Now his wish is to regain power in Georgia," Kadagishvili said.
The Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze, offered Mikheil Saakashvili to be transferred to Gori Military Hospital after 50 days of hunger strike.
The third President of Georgia was transferred to Gori Military Hospital on November 20.
