"Georgia can be the best place and platform for this type of peace talks," Irakli Kobakhidze, one of the parliamentary majority leaders, told reporters as he assessed Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia's offer.
According to Kobakhidze, this is the most important message.
"Georgia has good neighborly relations and traditional historical friendship with both countries. Naturally, we will be happy to take on such a mission if there is an interest in it," Kobakhidze said.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, who is paying an official visit to Brussels, has released a statement on the military confrontation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, noting that Georgia is ready to host the representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Tbilisi.
