Irakli Kobakhidze says opposition knows 'election has not been rigged in Georgia'

Leader of Parliamentary Majority Irakli Kobakhidze says that left-wing parties have turned down the ruling party's offer to recount votes, as they know the parliamentary election has not been rigged.

In Kobakhidze's words, if the opposition detects at least a minor fault after recounting votes, the ruling party is ready to call snap elections. "They are scared, as they know the election has not been rigged in Georgia," Kobakhidze declared.

The opposition considers the 31 Oct parliamentary elections rigged and refuses to take its parliamentary mandates.
