"Opponents today are trying to discredit all state bodies," Irakli Sesiashvili, the Chairperson of the Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, said on the Lelo Movement statement regarding the trials.
"Unfortunately, I cannot follow every detail of each case. One the one hand, I do not have direct competence and responsibility, on the other hand, this will be a political assessment on my part, which my opponents do not shy away from doing," Sesiashvili said.
The leaders of the political movement Lelo held a press conference regarding the accelerated court hearings of Mamuka Khazaradze, Badri Japaridze, and Avtandil Tsereteli.
