"Postponement of the elections will not be considered," Georgian Dream member Givi Mikanadze said.
"Elections are important; we will elect local self-government representatives. We will elect mayors in all municipalities. It is important for the further development of the country, as well as for the fullness of the application that we have focused on in 2024 in relation to the European Union," said Mikanadze.
Due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation, the Public Defender and part of the opposition parties are initiating the postponement of the elections.
