"I appreciate the strong and close cooperation that Georgia has with NATO. Georgia is one of our most important partners," NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said at a joint news conference after meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister in Brussels.
As the NATO Secretary-General noted, Georgia should be proud of its contribution to NATO security and the success of NATO missions.
"I want to greet you at the NATO Headquarters. It is a great pleasure for me to welcome the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia at the NATO Headquarters. It proves that our partnership is politically important for you and us. We work very closely in the field of security and many other areas, including training and the mission in Afghanistan," Stoltenberg said.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, is paying a two-day official visit to Brussels.
